a Personal Bio for Hinda-jonathan Productions
Martina's father was a photojournalist.
Both her father and older sister worked on photography in their home darkroom.
She started drawing before the age of 4. Encouraged by her parents and teachers, she began taking after-school art classes in the first grade and continued with them for many years. By the age of 6, she decided to become an artist. She took drawing classes from 10-13 at a community art school -
Literally translated as The People's School of Art.
When she moved to the USA, Martina took photography classes at her high school and fell in love with it.
Later, while at the Massachusetts College of Art, she felt torn between photography and illustration art.
She received her bachelor's degree in illustration, but enrolled in every photography class possible.
Traveling is her other passion. Martina said " through my photography, I seek to capture my personal perspective of the beauty in the landscape and the grandeur of the ancient architecture that I encounter
as I travel the world."
